Image sources

A surface texture is a claim about how a body looks. The same rule applies as to a number: without a verified licence it is not used and the body is drawn instead. Lighting, terminator and atmospheric limb are always computed, even over a photograph.

The licence “cited” means only the value was taken from that source, that is the number and its uncertainty, not the text or the image. Where the author is a US federal agency, the work is free by law. ESA and ESO have their own terms requiring attribution. Nothing beyond that is claimed: inventing a licence would be worse than leaving it out.
